This division is responsible for the coordination of all financial matters so as to ensure that assets of the Ghana Maritime Authority are properly secured and protected and there is compliance with statutory Regulations. Funds are properly managed and the right policies and procedures are in place.

Detail functions are:

  • Prepare budget proposals of the Ghana Maritime Authority
  • Initiate action on procurement, repair and maintenance of the assets and materials
  • Process documents on payment of emoluments and other financial obligations of the Ghana Maritime Authority
  • Monitor and control the flow of cash receipts and disbursements to meet the business and investment needs of the Ghana Maritime Authority
  • Oversee the investment of funds and manage associated risk and supervise cash management activities
  • Advise Management on prudent financial practices
  • Manage the estates and properties of the Ghana Maritime Authority
