The Programme was organised through the collaborative efforts of the Ghana Maritime Authority, the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN) and the Convention on Business Integrity (CBi).
It was a sequel to the Conference held in January 2023 and aimed at assisting Ghanaian maritime agencies to emulate the Nigerian Module Project used to support the reduction of corruption in Nigerian ports.
The event was attended by representatives of the Office of the Special Prosecutor, the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Finance, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority and the Ghana Shippers’ Authority.
Other agencies in attendance were the Marine Police, Ghana Anti-Corruption, Ship Owners Association of Ghana and the Regional Maritime University, among others.
